Signed limited edition gicleé print of wet process cyanotype. From a collection of botanical images of local plants. Cyanotype is a 170-year-old photographic printing process that produces prints in a distinctive dark greenish-blue. When ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide are combined and exposed to UV light, the result is ferric ferrocyanide, also known as Prussian Blue.

Wet cyanotypes are made by adding vineagar, soap bubbles, salt, and tumeric to the wet treated paper and exposing the material to the sun for 4-8 hours causing varied and colorful results.
